There's a place to store that
While on my frequent walks around my neighborhood, I have noticed a few things: new landscaping, freshly painted front doors, new fences...and storage containers in driveways (think PODS). Maybe I have noticed them more because I have been working with several clients to clean out and organize their storage units? I don’t know. But there seem to be many in my neighborhood. I think the additional time we’re spending at home is making people tired of looking at all their stuff.
I am sure you have seen the number of storage facilities going up all over the Nashville area. One article I read said that, as of February 2019, 1 in 11 Americans had a storage unit. No wonder we have them on what seems like every corner!
There are many reasons to have a storage unit (see the top 7 reasons why). Maybe you are downsizing and don’t want to get rid of all of your stuff. Maybe you inherited a bunch of stuff, and you don’t have room in your current space to keep it. Or maybe you have a RV or boat that needs a place to stay when not in use. Whatever the reason, a storage unit is a great option for storing things you don’t need on a regular basis.
Until it’s not. What if you haven’t been to your storage unit in months or years? You still pay to keep your stuff stored, but you don’t even remember what you are storing. This happens frequently. And the thought of going through that storage unit hangs over you like a big, dark cloud. You know you need to go through it, but it’s just too overwhelming (or hot, or cold, or whatever) to do it.
Guess what? I can help. I mentioned earlier that I have been helping several clients organize their storage units. I have heard “I forgot I had this!” so many times while going through boxes in a storage unit. I have also heard “I don’t want this anymore. Let’s get rid of it!”. I can help you go through and organize the contents of your storage unit. Let’s see what’s in there and get it done!
